Sufyan As Thauree was a scholar who illuminated the world with his knowledge and who revived certain aspects of the Prophets Sunnah that would otherwise have been lost. He is a revered & noble scholar, a status he earned although he fled from all forms of fame and popularity throughout his life, which has been a good example of piety, purity, worship, righteousness. humbleness, fearfulness & repentance.
