In the Shade of the Green Dome is a biography of Hadrat Haji Ahmed Nakhooda (d.2022), khalifah of Hadrat Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhalwi (d.1982). It also contains a unique collection of previously unpublished personal letters to Hadrat Haji Sahib from his two shaykhs – Hadrat Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhalwi and Hadrat Mawlana Badr-i-‘Alam Mirati. The book offers rare insights into Tasawwuf, and not only chronicles a remarkable life but also invites readers into the timeless world of Islamic tazkiyah rooted in sincerity, humility and love for the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).
